If you find yourself using the taxi service more than once a week, it may be worthwhile to look into our account services. This is a two-fold service offered to those who frequently use our services. The first, being a Personal Account, and the second being a Corporate Account.
How does it work?
Personal Account": An account holder is mailed a booklet of Travel Tabs at the start of each month. With each trip taken, the holder of the account records the details of the trip onto one of the Travel Tabs. That tab is given to the driver as payment. Each Tab is handed in to our accountant upon receipt, and a monthly tab is generated. The bill is sent to you at the end of each month with a detailed charges report and a small administration fee.
Corporate Account: Like a Personal Account, the recipient in charge of the corporate account is mailed the necessary number of Travel Tabs for his or her employees to hand out as they deem necessary. Those employees note and use the Tabs much the same as with a Personal Account, and they are collected by our accountant. At the end of the month period, a bill is sent to the Account Holder for payment.
Why should I invest in an Account?
Personal Account: Have you ever had an emergency situation but found yourself without a ride? Maybe you don't get paid for another few days? On a fixed income where you need to budget accordingly? The Personal Account allows you to focus on where to go, rather than how to pay for it on arrival. The freedom to credit your trip when needed will alleviate some financial stress, and give you the freedom to travel on your own terms.
Corporate Account: The ability for your employees to travel when necessary is a huge boon to business. Whether you use the Tab to allow for travel to and from home, or from worksite to worksite, it will assuage your employees to know that they don't have to worry about parking payments, gas prices, or the focus driving can take. Rather allowing them to sit back, and deal with their task at hand. Having a Corporate Account is also a great way to lure perspective employees in with all the added benefits previously listed.
Added benefits of the Personal or Corporate Account:
The account is used as a "blank cheque", which means you can transfer its usage. Meaning if you have a personal account with "X" amount of tabs remaining that you don't plan on using, you can pass one or more off to your brother, Mother, friend, for their needs. Keeping in mind though, that usage and billing will still be sent to the account holder. We encourage safe habits when using the Taxi Tab system, as misuse of the availability will leave you on the hook for billing and the end of the month.
When I get my bill, when is payment due? You have 14 days in which to pay off your bill from the day received. If no payments are made within 30 days of receipt the account will be suspended until payment is received. If no payment is received within 90 days of receipt, the account is terminated and other methods of securing payment are pursued.
How do I cancel my account? Your account can be cancelled at your request at any time. The bill for any outstanding Tabs will be sent within 7 days of account termination. There is no fee for account termination. Simply call our offices and we can immediately begin the process for you.
I think my Tab Book was stolen, what do I do?
If you have lost your Book, or believe it may have been stolen, we highly suggest you immediately contact our offices, as any Tabs collected before that time will be assumed to have been used with your prior knowledge. We treat each circumstance of a lost or stolen Tab Book individually and will personally deal with you to make sure everyone is satisfied with the result.
There's a charge on my Account that wasn't a ride? There is a small administration fee added to each account end of the month bill. Corporate accounts are done on a contract by contract basis, and will be reviewed by the accountant and account holder on an individual basis.
